Kick Counter · Effective 18 July 2026
Kick Counter is built around a single promise: everything you track stays on your device. Your pregnancy and baby data never leaves your phone.
Nothing is sent to us or anyone else. Kick Counter has no account system, no login, and no servers. We do not operate a backend, and the app does not transmit your data anywhere.
Everything you enter — fetal movements and kick-counting sessions, contractions, symptoms, mood, weight, water, appointments, checklists, baby names, birth plan, bump photos, and (after birth) feedings, diapers, sleep, growth, and milestones — is stored only in a local database on your device.
The app can generate a doctor-report PDF from your data. This is created on your device, and it is shared only if you choose to share it through your phone's standard share sheet (for example, to email or a messaging app). What happens to a file after you share it is governed by the app or service you send it to.
Kick Counter is intended for expectant and new parents. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information from children.
Kick Counter is an informational tool, not a medical device, and it does not provide a diagnosis. It highlights changes from your baby's own pattern to discuss with your provider — it is never a substitute for professional medical advice. Always contact your healthcare provider with any concerns.
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and post the revised policy at the same location.
